Our women’s household, Victoria House, will serve as a home for women to grow in identity and foster sisterhood. We want to develop a way of life that will transform the woman within the house so that they can reflect God’s love for women that they encounter in their everyday lives.
Society puts so much pressure on young women to place their identity by unrealistic social standards. These expectations push women to try to change who they are so they can fit into a mold, in order to feel accepted. However, this constant striving leaves them feeling isolated, depressed, hopeless, and empty. These women have a deep longing in their hearts to be a part of a sisterhood.
By living in deep relationships, the Victoria House wants to be a place where women can own their identity as daughters of the Father -- imperfect and beautiful. The 3 women living together will live in the light, sharing their hearts with one another and holding each other accountable for living with their eyes on God. By participating in morning prayer 3 times a week and sharing in dinners together twice a week, they will develop a deeper commitment to Christ and a heart for the other, with the goal of inviting others into this way of life.
